The following is a very brief description of this wonderful method. 

Cranio-Sacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle yet deep approach to healing. While working with the body as a whole, the focus in CST often is on the cranial bones (skull), the sacrum (triangular bone at the base of the spine), and the cerebrospinal fluid, which creates a rhythm in the body. This rhythm has an important role in the health, function, and unfolding of the whole body. Changes in the rhythm can direct the practitioner to areas that need therapeutic attention.

Arms, legs, and the neck can be 'unwound' instead of released through deep massage. Organs also can return to their inherent vascular rhythm.

Cranio-sacral therapy highly respects the inherent knowledge of the body's healing capacity. Listening to the the body and inviting movement through subtle impulses is one of the most important tools.

Clients frequently report a sense of relaxation on a deep level. This kind of bodywork can be a great chance to  integrate mind, body, and soul. Cranio-sacral therapy is especially beneficial for the following:

Verena was certified as a cranio-sacral practitioner through the Natural Health Resource Center in Seattle in 2015.  She studied the work intensely with her teacher Ursula Popp for three years, learning to apply techniques and approaches according to the body's needs and innate capacity for healing.
